SERVICES WE OFFER

GST stands for Goods and Services Tax, and it’s a comprehensive indirect tax levied on the supply of goods and services across India. Implemented on July 1, 2017, GST replaced multiple indirect taxes that were previously levied by the central and state governments, aiming to create a unified tax structure. GST subsumed taxes like service tax, excise duty, VAT, etc., streamlining the taxation process and reducing complexities for businesses. It operates under a dual model, comprising the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) levied by the central government and the State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) imposed by the state governments on intra-state transactions. Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) applies to inter-state transactions. The tax rates are divided into different slabs, ranging from 5% to 28%, based on the type of goods or services.
